Discover The TROT Story

TROT Therapeutic Riding began with the vision of providing a unique and amazing therapeutic program.

TROT stands for  Therapeutic Riding on Thoroughbreds, and was founded as a way to reduce the negative stigma behind the off the track thoroughbred horses while at the same time providing children and adults with disabilities the benefits of therapeutic riding.

Jonathan Jae Kyung Hall

Founder – Therapeutic Riding Instructor

Jonathan began riding when he was 7 and has always held a special place in his heart for animals. After attending UMaine Orono, Jonathan began working with wilderness therapy programs providing outdoor education and adventure therapy. During this time Jonathan began to rediscover his love for horses and bought Two Scoops Of Funk Juice (Scoopers) in 2012. Since then Jonathan has received training in Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy and attended the University of New Hampshire PATH Certification program. In 2017, after teaching in other programs Jonathan decided to open TROT with a goal to provide outstanding therapeutic riding instruction on thoroughbreds.
